It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Mae Holmes of Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schevers and Marie Schevers (Clark); her husband Robert F. Holmes; her daughter Debbie Miller; and her siblings, Doris Westmoreland and Steve Schevers.
She is survived by: her children, John Holmes (Patsy) of Omaha, Nebraska, Lou Ann Goldie of Keokuk, Pam Horner (Kenny) of Keokuk and Traci Roth (Jeff) of Keokuk; her brother Dan Schevers (Kim) of Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Josh Ricker (Jill), Daryle Hightower (Adam), Jamie Lynn Webb (Aaron), Ryan Horner (Erica), Bob West (Tanya), Ashley Hinkle (Zach), Travis Miller (Angie), Jessica DeShaw (Cory), Trevor Roth, Bailey Billings (Nick) and Riley Leisenring (Nate). She is also survived by forty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
