We announce the death of Debra Wadden of Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 71. Debra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schmoldt Jr. and LaVon Marie Testman; her grandson Kole Wood; and her great grandchild Malachai Mueller. She is survived by: her husband Tom Wadden of Keokuk; her children, Shawn Mueller (Christine) and Melissa Law (Ira) of Keokuk; her siblings, Craig Schmoldt (Ann) of Menifee, Arkansas and Linda Vargas (Rick) of Independence, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Jarin Muller, Tyler Olson, Danielle Garcia, Kendall Woolf, Austin Almon, Hailey Steinke, Madison Steele, Parker Mueller, Hana Skog, Jaelyn White, Abigail Mueller, Ada Wood, Ava Law and Hudson Law; Sara Wadden (Robin) of Keokuk. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
