He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Owery and Virginia Howell; and his daughter Twila Mendenhall. He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Mendenhall of Keokuk; his siblings, Larry "Max" Mendenhall (Laurie) of Keokuk and Brenda Kline (Steve) of Keokuk; and his nieces and nephews, Maxwell Mendenhall, Kelsey Mendenhall, Jennifer Kline, Tiffany Kline, Nicole Kline, Ben Kline and Katie Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vigen Memorial (1328 Concert St, Keokuk, IA 52632). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at 1628 Concert St, Keokuk, IA 52632.
Memorials may be made to Anchor of Hope Church or donor's choice.
