It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Leo Weirather of Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Weirather and Alberta Cale Weirather; and his brother Roland Weirather. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Weirather of Polk City, FL, Scott Weirather (Patricia) of Keokuk and Wendy Weirather Frakes of Keokuk; his grandchildren, Nathan Weirather, Brian Weirather (Kelsey Weigand), Ethan Frakes (Tess Kuhn), Jeremy Frakes, Brock Weirather and Tara Weirather; his great grandchildren, Aria and Caden; his brother Norman Weirather of Nowata, OK; and his sister-in-law Mary Weirather of Keokuk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lee County Hospice or to the Montrose Ball Association, in memory of Gerald Weirather.
