He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale Scanlan and Helen Scanlan (Worley); and his brothers, Bob Scanlan and Brad Scanlan. He is survived by: his wife Eva Joan Scanlan of Keokuk; his children, Greg Evans (Kristi) of Niota, Michelle Taylor of Tennessee and Tanya Snider (Floyd) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his stepchildren, Joseph Miller of Oquawka, Jennifer Miller of Carthage, Christopher Miller of Carthage and David Miller of Oquawka; his siblings, Kay Walcott of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Todd Scanlan; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Meyers of Kansas and Carol Nelson of Kansas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
