We bid farewell to Jay Riley Vest (Keokuk, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 30, 2024 at the age of 91. Jay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Douglas and Pearlie Vest (McKim); his son Steven; and his sister Glenneva Peebler. He is survived by: his wife Loa Vest of Keokuk; his daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Ruffcorn (Jerry) of Cedar Rapids and Melanie Baker of Anna, Texas; his grandchildren, Ryan Ruffcorn (Kara), Amanda Rairden (Shane), Lyndy Roost (Shawn), Caitlin Kolosick (John), Brandi Stolp (Trey) and McKenzie Manning (Bryon); and his sister Joan Nelson of Lakewood, Colorado.. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
