With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnnie Keppel of Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Keppel II and Charlotte Kayser Hays; his stepfather Roy Hays; and his daughter Rachelle. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Mastin (Wade) of Boone, IA, Chastity Kearns (Chris) of Montrose, IA and Gary Keppel (Heather) of Louisiana; his grandchildren, Krystal Keppel, Andrea Lutes, Valerie Keppel, Alexandria Mastin, Madison Kearns, Logan Kearns and Maya Kearns; and his brother Albert Keppel III (Kathleen) of Keokuk.

Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots or Wreaths Across America.
