It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kathleen Parmeter (Keokuk, Iowa), born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leon Raymond and Florence Rose Cummings (Bulger); her husband John Richard Parmeter; her son Bob Parmeter; her granddaughter Madeline Shodeen Parmeter; her children, Tom Parmeter of Ennepetal, Germany, Maryann Walker of Charlotte, Dick Parmeter of Keokuk, John Parmeter (Anita) of Des Moines, Peg Parmeter of Houston, Peter Parmeter of Keokuk, Bill Parmeter of Ft. Myers, Jim Parmeter (Rose) of Charlotte, Kathy Gichard (Warren) of Solon, Rene Hamilton (Mike) of Houston and Patty Stolley of Iowa City; and her sister Connie Cummings of Davenport, Iowa.. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to All Saints Church or Keokuk Catholic Schools.
