It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Walter Jordan of Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Walter Jordan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jordan and Lily Silvers Jordan; his former wife Doris Lerche; his siblings, Wanda Berry, Ron Jordan and Dale Jordan; and his nephew Rusty Berry.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Jordan (Terry Goforth) of Palmyra; his grandsons, Tanner Simpson of Fort Madison and Jordan Simpson of Fort Madison; his nephews, Rick Berry (Judy) and Ron Berry (Tammy); and his stepsons, Steven Nichols (Karen), Dean Nichols (Toni) and Scott Nichols (Teresa).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Vigen Memorial (1328 Concert St, Keokuk, IA 52632). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (4401 Avenue O, Fort Madison, IA 52627).
