He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scheers and Pearl Scheers; his wife Mary Lobberecht; his son Tommy Cramer; and his friend Karen Hardy.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Cramer (Billi) of Mount Enterprise, Texas, Gina Cramer of Montrose, Jessica Atterberg (Bill) of Keokuk and Tammy Scheers of Delaware; and his grandchildren, Zoe (Matthew), Luke, Brice, Noah, Toby, Tommy II, Ashley, John, Josh, Lori, Orion, Liam, Hallee (Izick), Izzy, Trinity and Alisha. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the DeJong-Printy Funeral Home (917 Blondeau St, Keokuk, IA 52632). A memorial service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at the Keokuk National Cemetery (1701 J St, Keokuk, IA 52632).
