He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Gray and Vera Shaver Gray; his wife Esther Harris Gray; his grandson Tylor Gray; his stepchildren, Kenneth Finch, Jacqueline Hines, Harry Finch and John Finch; his stepgrandson Scott Finch; and his brother Veldon Gray.
He is survived by: his children, Troy Gray (Christina) of New London, IA, DeWayne Gray of Keokuk and Tonya Smith of Keokuk; his grandchild Kolton Smith (Amber) of West Point, IA; his great grandchildren, Karter, Kallahan and Katy; his grandchild Braydon Smith (Kenzie) of Spring Hill, TN; his great grandchild Decker; his grandson Tanner Horner of Argyle, IA; and his stepchildren, Brenda Hines of Keokuk and Steve Mason (Lori) of Keokuk. He is also survived by twenty step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (2470 Jackson Ave, Keokuk, IA 52632).
