He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvan Leroy and Edna Faye Archer (Baker). He is survived by: his wife Judy of Cantril; his children, Tracy Strang (Kevin) of Solon and Kirk Archer (Laura Decker) of Cedar Rapids; his sisters, Carolyn Buxton (Richard) of Cantril and Donna Epperson (Keith) of Sigourney; his sister-in-law Betty Jo Brown of Oak Harbor, WA; his grandchildren, Alec Archer (Amanda), Paige Archer, Courtney Kovacs (Jim) and Cody Strang (Kelsey); and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Chloe, Jaden, Logan and Baby Strang.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cranston Family Funeral Home - Keosauqua (1517 Broad St, Keosauqua, IA 52565). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
