She was predeceased by: her parents, William Morris and Clella Morris (Thoman); her husband Richard Glenn McCarty; her brother Charles Morris; her grandson Robert Alan McCarty; and her great grandchild Jackson Robert McCarty.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gary Morris (Kathy), Gene Morris (Lorene) and Candance Morris; her grandchildren, Robert Ehret (Candie), Kelly Ehret, Rick McCarty (Sierra), Richard McCarty (Cady) and Renny McCarty; her great grandchildren, Clinton McCarty (Lynsey), Austin McCarty, Sunny Merrill, Sydney Ehret, Rae Ehret, Skyler Gonterman, Mallory Gonterman, Kolby, Kobain McCarty, Madilyn, Ellie McCarty, Aubrey, Conrad McCarty, Kinley, Lincoln McCarty, Abel McCarty and Lakelyn McCarty; her stepchildren, Robert McCarty and Cindy Chambers (Bill); her nephew Geoff Morris (Libby); her niece Evelyn Morris; and her friends, Jan Mayo, Judy Siverly, Trudy Workman and Sherry Christy. She is also survived by many extended family members and honorary family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Cranston Family Funeral Home - Keosauqua (1517 Broad St, Keosauqua, IA 52565). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Bonapart Elementary School.
