It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Fransen of Keosauqua, Iowa, born in Sanborn, Iowa, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Fransen and Elsie Fransen (Storm); his brothers, Raymond Fransen, Delbert Fransen and Irvin Fransen Sr.; his sister-in-law Elona Fransen; his niece Trena Sunday; his great-nephew Zachary Fransen; and his fiancée Carol Munford.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Drummer (Rick) of Marshalltown, IA and David Fransen of Arlington, TN; his grandchildren, Amanda Drummer of Garwin, IA and Matthew Drummer of Marshalltown, IA; his great grandchild Lyla Maxwell of Garwin, IA; his former wife Barbara Fransen of Marshalltown, IA; and his nephews, Tim Fransen (Natalie Rawlings), Tom Fransen (Carrie), Lonnie Fransen, Donnie Fransen and Irvin Fransen Jr. (Vicki). He is also survived by four great-nieces, five great-nephews.
