It is with sadness that the passing of Ruth Lloyd of Keosauqua, Iowa is shared. Ruth, born on November 11, 1939, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Horsman and Helen Loraine Wake; her husband Larry Lee Lloyd; her son Jeffrey Scott Lloyd; her grandchildren, Morgan Nicole Lloyd, Jarrod Moody and Emery Dickman; and her siblings, Jim Horsman and Janet Havens.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Lloyd of Altoona, Lincoln Lloyd (Christy) of Garwin, Garth Lloyd (Joni) of Arbela and John Lloyd of Indianola, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, James Lloyd (Beverly) of Fort Collins, Thomas Lloyd of Newton, Iowa, Delores Butler of Newton, Vera Lloyd of Phoenix, Arizona and Pat Horsman of Newton, Iowa. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; along with a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (910 Weaver Ave, Memphis, MO 63555).
