We bid farewell to Teresa E. Thomas of Keosauqua, Iowa, born in Fairfield, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 27, 2024 at the age of 66. Teresa touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Russell L. Schafer and Eleaner "Sunny" Schafer (Dwire) of Perry, Iowa; her former life partner Donnie Hopper; her husband Jeff Thomas; her children, Aaron Hopper (Natalie) of Fairfield, Ashley Hopper (Shauntel) of Wilton and Jessica Craun of Winfield; her grandchildren, Kaleb, Maison, Emma Hopper, Wyatt, Halle Babcock, Allie, Korbin, Briley, Lily Hopper, Paige, Murphy, Sarah and Vincent Craun; her great grandchildren, Melody and Theodore Hopper; and her brothers, Jeffry Schafer (Lynn) of Fairfield and Walter.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Behner Funeral Home & Crematory (203 S Main St, Fairfield, IA 52556).
