He was predeceased by : his parents, Rex Runyon and Fern Philips Runyon; his wife Ruth Runyon; his sons, Larry Runyon, Richard Runyon and Robert Runyon; his grandson Eric Runyon; and his brother Milo Runyon.
He is survived by : his children, Daryl Runyon (Dianne) and Doris Carr; and his sister Ardyth Newman (Bill). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
