We are sad to announce that, on March 22, 2026, at the age of 84, Dennis Gifford of Keota, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simeon Gifford and Olga "Bobbie" Gifford (Larson); his son Keith; his siblings, Les Gifford and Diane Reuscher; his brothers-in-law, Bill Immel (Loretta), Dick Immel (Vivian) and Ray Immel; his foster children, Richard Hartson and Rose Streff; his nephew Michael Immel; and his grandson Eric Streff.
He is survived by: his wife Laurel Immel of Keota; his daughter Crystal Gifford (E. J. Jones) of Blue Grass; his foster daughter Dianne Hartson (Jimmy); his granddaughters, Zoey Wroth and Christina Hulme (DJ); his siblings-in-law, Jack Immel (Muriel), Leroy Reuscher and Virginia "Ginny" Gifford; and his nieces and nephews, Dan Ferch, Joyce Mead, Ron Gifford, Cindy Van (John), Lorna Immel, Jay Immel, Anne Cheramy (Jeff) and Brian Immel (Carolyn).
A memorial fund has been established for the Wilson Memorial Library, Iowa Lions Eye Bank or the United Church of Faith.
