He is survived by: his wife Rita Jones of Keota; his children, Lora Banister (Joel) of Somonauk, Lisa Van Der (Willie), Lynnae Callison (Shane) of Ventura and Will Luers (Melissa) of Keota; his grandchildren, Myranda Banister, Titus Banister, Evan Van Der (Belle), Sadie Van Der Molen, Ellie Van Der Molen, Sawyer Van Der Molen, Cayden Charles Callison, Carson Callison, Chase Callison, Chandler Callison, Anna Luers, Will Samuel Luers, Isaiah Luers, Belle Luers, Gamon Luers, Kendall Luers, Asa Luers and Uriah Edwin Luers; his sister Luann Pack (Bill); his nephew Tanner Pack; his niece Ramsey Pack; his mother-in-law Marjorie Jones; and his sister-in-law Linda Jones.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prairie Flower Baptist Church (1909 Larch Ave, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for Prairie Flower Baptist Church, the Iowa Regular Baptist Camp or Gideons International.
