He is survived by: his wife Teri (Teri) of Keota; his son Michael Carl (Trish) of Keota; his grandchildren, Iiliyah Hill, Kahlan Carl, Kilee Carl, Theo Jubeck and Bindi Jubeck; his siblings, Lisa Smith (Carl) of Raymore, Lynette Lemmon (Jim) of Claremore, Oklahoma and Tary Carl (Lana) of Coweta, Oklahoma; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Carl of Oklahoma, Cindy Snedigar (John) of West Chester and Steve Hahn of Keota.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (203 S Green St, Keota, IA 52248). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for the Keota QRS or Washington County Hospice.
