With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Brees of Keota, Iowa. Joan, born on June 18, 1933, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Jacobs and Alma Jacobs (Lampe); her husband Clifford Brees; her grandson Brent Brees; and her siblings, Larry, Terry, Jim Jacobs, Mary Lou Noble and Nancy Gerleman.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott (Tami) and Kip (Susan Cahill); her grandchildren, Katie Button (Chris) and Cameron Brees (Kristin); and her stepgrandchildren, Chad Sheetz (Stacey), Tera Sheetz (James) and Luke Sheetz (Devin). She is also survived by six great grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.
A general memorial fund has been established.
