With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Duane Pohlmann of Keystone, Iowa, who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Pohlmann and Alice Pohlmann (Allers); his brother Leonard Pohlmann; his sister-in-law Irene Pohlmann; his siblings, LeRoy and Arlene; and his siblings-in-law, MaryAnn, Lillian and Carl Stueck.
He is survived by: his wife Janyce Ulch; his children, Jeff Pohlmann (Kelly), Tamie Pohlmann and Deena Anderson; his nephews, Roger Pohlmann, Ted Stueck and Walt Hammill; his great-nephews, Mike and David Pohlmann; and his nieces, Kay Pohlmann and Fran Stueck. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Keystone (201 4th Ave, Keystone, IA 52249). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Keystone Cemetery (1427 71st St, Keystone, IA 52249). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Keystone (201 4th Ave, Keystone, IA 52249).
