She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wright and Eunice Wright (Loynachan); her sister Sherry McLaughlin; and her grandsons, Matthew and Jacob Weber.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Demmel of Keystone; her daughters, Jodi Weber (Joel) of Center Point and Leanne Demmel (Margaret Simpson) of Iowa City; her granddaughter Kailyn Weber of Chaffee, MO; and her sister Sandra Boyer of Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home (1212 1st Ave, Vinton, IA 52349). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church of Vinton (608 1st Ave, Vinton, IA 52349).
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Benton Community Scholarship Foundation.
