She was predeceased by: her parents, Neils J. Overgaard and Nadjeschda M. Overgaard (Lynge); her husbands, Keith Johnson and Andy Andersen; her son Karl William Johnson; her sisters, Lois Ann (Lisa Marie Johnson), Ardis Petersen, Elsa West and Eva Leistad; and her sister-in-law Carol Overgaard.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Edwards (Jeff) of Audubon, Linette Hadley (Randy) of Urbandale, Kurt Johnson (Barbara) of Audubon and Kris Johnson (Michelle) of Austin, TX; her grandchildren, Matthew Edwards (Tracy Deutmeyer), Kellie Geater (Dave), Brett Edwards, Jessica Northwick (David), Rebecca Hunt (Shawn), Larissa Hadley (Jason Coellner), Alec Johnson, Dana Johnson (Porter Reim), Ruby Tai Johnson (Brian Guappone), Benjamin Johnson and Hannah Johnson; her siblings, Karma Sorensen (Howard) of Elk Horn, Egon Overgaard of Walker, MN and Ebba Johnson of Omaha, NE; and her stepchildren, Michael Andersen, Erik Andersen (Patricia) and Linda Griffith (Mark). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Museum of Danish America in Annette's name.
