She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Holmes and Ann Holmes; her husband Emery Christoffersen; her son David; and her siblings, Rose Ann, Dale, Dan and Bud.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Christoffersen of Urbandale and Carol Forshier (Kevin) of Redfield; her grandchildren, Adam Forshier (Betty) of Cedar Falls, Abbi Forshier of Grimes and Aaron Forshier of Redfield; her great grandchildren, Emma and Bruno Forshier; her brother Tom Holmes (Sally) of Union Grove, Wisconsin; and her sisters-in-law, Sylvia Christoffersen of Exira and Ardyce Lee of Westminster, Colorado. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimballton.
