With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty LouElla Rickett of Kingsley, Iowa, who passed away on January 28, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyndham Bauer and Dorothy Bauer (Helkenn); her sister Nancy Grant (Karel); and her parents-in-law, George and Susie Rickett.
She is survived by: her husband Walter George Rickett of Kingsley, Iowa; her children, Daniel Rickett (Sheryl) of Huntington, IN, Deborah Rickett of Sioux Falls, SD and Donna Keck (Kerry) of Kingsley, IA; her grandchildren, Justin (McKenna), Marina, Nathan (Tabitha) and Courtney (Derik); and her sister Carol Cadwell of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of gifts and flowers the family asks that donations in Betty's name be made to the KP Booster Club.
