He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sitzmann and Leona Sitzmann (Nuebel); his former wife Barbara Jean Sitzmann of Michael's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Gerald Sitzmann, Jeanette Schroeder and Leon Sitzmann.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Osterbuhr Schroeder of Kingsley, IA; his children, Shelly Loutsch (Jerome) of Hinton, IA, Lisa Tritch (Jeff) of Chanhassen, MN, Dennis Sitzmann (Kim) of Madison, GA, Chris Sitzmann of Sioux City, IA, Dan Sitzmann (Cheryl) of Sioux City, IA and Nick Sitzmann (Tessa) of Athens, GA; his stepchildren, Shelley Ruden (Steve) of Remsen, IA, Brenda Schroeder of Le Mars, IA, Paul Schroeder of Sioux Falls, SD, Preston Schroeder (Tanya) of Le Mars, IA, Jesse Schroeder of Le Mars, IA, Nathan Schroeder (Lindsey) of Le Mars, IA and Natalie Bohnenkamp (Jason) of Ankeny, IA; his siblings, Mary Ann Krogman, Kathleen Shaw (Bob), Fred Sitzmann (Susie), Steve Sitzmann and Kevin Sitzmann (JoAnn); his in-laws, Mark Schroeder, Jolynn Sitzmann, Ashley Osterbuhr, Linda King (Ken), Nancy Osterbuhr, Terry Moore, Byron Osterbuhr, Delores Sitzmann, Kathy Sitzmann, Don Krogman, Doug Osterbuhr and Bruce Moore; and his stepgrandson Tanner Smith. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 27 step grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren.
