He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Avery; his wife Sandy Avery; and his in-laws, Ray and Agnes Grady. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Stephanie and Christine; his children, Neil Avery (Sarah) of Sioux City, IA, Stephanie Gemberling (Greg) of Sioux City, IA and Christine Avery (Ian Saari) of Saint Paul, MN.; his grandchildren, Kalla, AvaLynne, Khloe, Penelope, Declyn, Sydney and Freya; his aunt Shirley Andre; and his close friend Ginger. He is also survived by his siblings, nieces, and nephews.
