He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Bainbridge and Lena Bainbridge (Heifner); his siblings, Harlen, Russell "Bud" and Maxine; his former wife Marjorie Willis (Page); his wife Lorraine Kots; his children, Keith and Linda Vander Laan; and his daughter-in-law Pat Kots.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen (Jim Hudec) of Walthill, Nebraska. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren, 8 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
