He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza John and Virginia Isabel Harl (Humes); and his son Bennett Cole Harl. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Ellen Vandall; his children, Hope Harl of Seattle, David Harl of Knoxville, Robin Turner (Darin) of Sioux City and Darin Harl (Chanel) of Knoxville; and his siblings, Linda Jaquez of Nebraska, Janet Martin of Knoxville and Steven Harl (Linda) of Minnesota. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family and will be designated at a later date.
