He was predeceased by : his parents, Leroy Schlampp and Ione Schlampp (McInroy); and his siblings, Robert, Edith and Rita.

He is survived by : his former life partner Adeltha "Sue" Rushing; his children, Diana Miller (Jim Larsen), Annie Jones, Connie Allen (Sean), Justin Schlampp and Cara DeJoode (DJ); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jenni, Tiffanie, Amie, Spencer, Destanie, Haylie and Jax. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
