With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Robert Anderson (Knoxville, Iowa), born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, who passed away on November 21, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Anderson and Ruth Anderson (Burden); and his grandson Christian Anderson. He is survived by : his wife Mary Schanke; his sons, Mike (Kathi) and Matt Anderson (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Samantha, Garth, Mateo, Gabriel and Rebecca.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Knoxville Rotary Club Dictionary Project or to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
