He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kephart and Cecile Kephart (Hopping); his sons-in-law, Jack Merkle and Mark Fee; and his siblings, Bernard Kephart, Raymond Kephart, Erma Regenitter, Karen Nelson, Leslie and Lester Kephart.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Kephart; his children, Michele Atterbury (Rick), Jill Merkle, Michael Kephart (Marsha), Pamela Fee and Kimberly Baumgarten; and his stepsons, Kevin DeLong (Kim) and Brian DeLong (Brenna). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Knoxville or to the Alzheimer's Association.
