He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Sharp and Rose Sharp (Brown); his in-laws, Duane and Delores Agan; and his brother Duane Sharp.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Sharp; his sons, Barry Sharp (Colleen) and Brent Sharp (Mary); his grandchildren, Clint Sharp (Addie), Matt Sharp (Liz), Rachael Hintz (Jake), Jake Sharp (Alyssa) and Tanner Sharp (Mikayla); his great grandchildren, Ryker, Asher, Emersyn, Maisie, Lennon, Gia, Ava and Ellie; and his brother Gary Sharp (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Knoxville (309 W Main St, Knoxville, IA 50138). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Jim's name to the Columbia Community Center.
