She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Colgan and Pauline Colgan; her grandmother Imo Griffith; and her sisters, Judith Colgan and Peggy Colgan.
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Dwight Biddle (Valerie) and Theresa Vance (Jeff); her grandchildren, Ben Gressley (René), Zach Cupples (Emma) and Ashley Vance; her great grandchildren, Emberlen, Kaci and Juniper; and her brother Ernest Colgan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Joyce would like to help others by making memorial contributions to the Knoxville Fire and Rescue, the Melcher-Dallas American Legion Auxiliary Post 632, or the Margaret Long Infusion Center.
