Richard L. Sharar Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Sharar of Knoxville, Iowa, who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Junice Sharar; his parents, Glen Sharar and Helen Sharar; his sister Florraine Ring; and his nephew Kurt Sharar.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Arnold (Chris), Krista Clark (Kenny) and Troy Sharar (Jen); and his grandchildren, Callie French (Jeremy), Ethan Arnold, Sydney Clark, Jonathan Clark, Cole Sharar and Carly Sharar. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (1201 Woodland Dr, Knoxville, IA 50138). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Catholic Charities or Stead Family Children's Hospital.
