He is survived by: his grandchildren, Isaiah Corben (Hannah), Bryan Rees (Haleigh), Kristina Stittsworth (Alex), Austin Larison, Dustin Carnes (Melissa), Sunshine Carnes and Amanda Hanika (Jason); and his brother Ron Rees (Julie). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Community of Christ Church (714 Willetts Dr, Knoxville, IA 50138). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Graceland Cemetery (102 Willetts Dr, Knoxville, IA 50138).

Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
