He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Wales and Mabel Wales (Edinger); his son Mark Wayne Wales; and his siblings, Kenneth Wales, Letha Brinkman, Leonard Wales, Esther Kooyman, Lora Newton, Ila Mae Josephs, John Wales and Willard Wales.
He is survived by : his wife Karen Jean Olivier; and his sister Vergie Hodson. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
