He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Carter and Dorothy Carter; and his son Wade Carter. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Brad Carter (Linda), Lisa Carter and Jodi Counts (Chris); his grandchildren, Lauren, Benjamin, Nathan, Nick, Bailey, Keith, Charlie, Jordyn and Brody; and his great grandchildren, Everlee, Carter, Zaire and Zayla. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Knoxville (309 W Main St, Knoxville, IA 50138).
Memorials may be made in care of Roger's family and will be designated at a later date.
