He is survived by: his children, Carlton Jr., Richard Busch (Kimberly) of Dubuque, IA and Rebecca Harjehausen (Robert) of La Motte, IA; his daughter-in-law Lisa Harmon (Tom) of Zwingle, IA; his grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Nathan, Alyssa, Mitchell, Lucas and Adam; his stepgranddaughters, Angela, Amy and Jennifer; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Busch, Mary Kay Busch, Donna Busch, Betty McPhail, Carol Blume and Harold Miller (Rita). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
