She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Thul and Sharon Thul (Smith); her husband Wayne Laufenberg Jr.; her parents-in-law, Wayne Sr. and Geraldine; and her sister-in-law Susan.
She is survived by: her significant other Michael Goin; her children, Corey Laufenberg (Nichole) of Barneveld, WI, Jason Laufenberg of Dubuque, IA and Kara Laufenberg of Clinton, IA.; her grandchildren, Kalysa, Brayden, Izabel, Kior, Makenna, Omari, Calvin and Amira; her siblings, Danny, Dennis, Donnie Thul and Kathy Schwager (Brian); and her brothers-in-law, Chris and Mark Laufenberg.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials for Debbie Laufenberg may be directed to the funeral home.
