She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef Schaedle and Erika Schaedle (Shu'tter); and her former husbands, Richard F. Monaghan and Elmer Saulsbury (Richard Monaghan). She is survived by: her sons, Pete J. Saulsbury (Rose) of Pittsboro, NC and Kevin A.; her grandchildren, Dusty (Andrea), Cory (Megan), Kyle Saulsbury, Clark Saulsbury, Shane Saulsbury, Clayton Wheeler, Henry Saulsbury and Sophia Murray; her great grandchildren, D. J. Saulsbury and Willow Saulsbury; and her siblings, Claus Schadle (Monika) and Karin Nigg (Dieter) of Munich, Germany..
A reception was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porte City American Legion Post #207 (606 E Main St, La Porte City, IA 50651).
