With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Ripperger of Lacona, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Miller and Eva Miller; her husband Delbert Ripperger; and her siblings, Rosemary Bauer, Rita Ripperger, Delores Bauer, Clarence Miller, Darrell Miller and Allen Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hart (Dan), Curt Ripperger (Renee) and Joseph Ripperger (Kim); her grandchildren, Kasey Ripperger, John Hart, Kaylene Gall (Gerald), Katie Swanson (Trevor), Karie Payette (Aaron), Kara Bernal and Wendy Cannon; her siblings, Wilford Miller, Marie Glass (Robert) and Paulene Wadle (Roger); and her sisters-in-law, Karen Miller, Pat Hoch, Louise Stanley (Chauncey) and Maggie Ripperger. She is also survived by many friends and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lacona Fire Department.
