She was predeceased by: her parents, John Holstad and Edith Holstad (Nelson); her husband Ernest Bergo; her son Bryan Bergo; her siblings, Virgil Holstad (Helen) and Jerry Holstad; and her siblings-in-law, Milt Haroldson and Senora Holstad.

She is survived by: her sons, Mark Bergo (Carol) of Northwood, IA and Tim Bergo of Lake Mills, IA; her daughter-in-law Roxanne Bergo of Mankato, MN; her grandchildren, Jeremy Bergo (Amy Kilgour), Justin Bergo, Jeremy S. Bergo and Nicole Richter (Phil); her great grandchild Sierra Bergo (Thomas Erickson); her siblings, Dean Holstad of Lake Mills, IA and Eva Haroldson of Albert Lea, MN; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Holstad of Rosemont, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sion Lutheran Church.
