She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Thompson and Caroline Thompson (Maakestad); her former husband Arnold Halvorson; her husband Art; her sons-in-law, Mick Thompson and Charles W. McManigal; her sister Elaine Aamodt (Orian); her brother-in-law Lynn Ramsey; her niece Rhonda Ramsey; and her great grandchild Parker Stubbs (Mabel Quisling).

She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Thompson Braun (John) of Happy Jack, AZ, Lonna Hansen (Lyle) of Clear Lake and Nancy McManigal; her grandchildren, Kevin Thompson, Kim Stubbs (David), Tonya Hansen, Jessica Rice (Arthur), Casey Beville (Ben) and Joe Fandel (Ashley); and her sister Norma Ramsey of Lake Mills. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
