It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verla Schroeder of Lake View, Iowa, who passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Arends and Rosetta Arends (Vogel); her husband Gene Schroeder; her sisters, Dorothy Mackrill (Glen) and Betty Faulk (Milton); and her nieces, Rosalie Schulte and Victoria Ebrecht. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other extended family members and friends.
