He is survived by: his wife Donna Smidt of Lake View, IA; his children, Andrea Partin (Robert) of Houston, TX, Aaron Smidt (Kelly) of Rockwell City, IA and Alissa Strelow (Jason) of Waterloo, IA; his grandchildren, Kyle, Reagan Partin, Bryce, Madysen Smidt, Raelynn, Carley, Kennedy and Olivia Strelow; his stepgranddaughter Abby Strelow; his siblings, Ronald Smidt (Judy) of Urbandale, IA and Donna Weinzetl of New Market, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Dwight Morenz of Lake City, IA, Joel Morenz (Carole) of Pueblo, CO, James Morenz of Pueblo, CO, Gene Morenz (Cheryl) of Pueblo, CO, Judy Vote (Bill) of Auburn, IA, Gert Drost of Lake View, IA, Diane Seymour (Bruce) of Adel, IA and Pat Morenz of Carroll, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family.
