She was predeceased by: her parents, Kay Orlando White and Myrtle White (Miles); and her siblings, Joyce Tracy (Donald), Marian Heaviland (Lee) and Eugene White.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jillian Davis (Alex), Gregory McElroy, Benjamin McElroy (Caitlin), Grayson McElroy (Amie) and Rileigh Gregory; her husband Bill McElroy; her sons, Jeff (Kathy), Dennis (Julie) and Steve (Alison); her brother Jerry White (Marlene); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn White and Robert McElroy (Kim). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Community of Christ Church (531 W Main St, Lamoni, IA 50140).
