She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Raymond and Clara Irene Sweeney (Miller); her husband Mitchell Blakesley; her parents-in-law, Vere and Marjorie Blakesley; her brother Kenneth Sweeney; her sister-in-law Elvalena Hayton (Earl); her nephews, Charles Lawson and Gary Hayton; and her niece Heather Sweeney.

She is survived by: her children, Jacob Luther Blakesley (Rachel) of Crawfordville, FL and Jessica Leah Bishop (Blakesley) of Des Moines, IA; her grandchildren, Levi, Joel, Clara and Joanna Blakesley; her sisters, Kathy Tucker (David) of Clive, IA, Charlene Sweeney of Madison, WI and Ilene Lawson of Madison, WI; her siblings-in-law, Pam Sweeney of Marion, IA and Rex "Bud" Blakesley (Rosalie) of Des Moines, IA; and her nieces and nephews, Angie Gourley, Jeremy Tucker, Timothy Tucker, Brent Sweeney, Aaron Sweeney, Colleen Cunningham, Shawn Sweeney, Sara Lawson, Laura Crofutt, Tom Hayton, Diann Johnson, Roger Blakesley, Steve Blakesley and Terry Blakesley. She is also survived by relatives, church family and friends.
