It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane S. Harris of Lamont, Iowa, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ernest and Lillian Louise Wessels (Helms); her husband Larry Harris; her siblings, Deb Kremer, Butch and Dick Wessels; her brother-in-law Ken Thomsen; and her nephews, Jeff Wessels, Scott Tudor and Marty Weber.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Beavers of Monroe, Cheryl "Beaner" Harris of Lamont, Joe Harris (Shelly) of Longmont and Justin Harris (Jackie) of Marion, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jason Burns, Jamie Beaver, Kade Harris, Brent Harris (Liz), Kara Harris, Keegan Harris, Xander Harris and Makenna Harris; her great grandchildren, Evan, Dawson, Bella, Merrick, Graylon and Forrest; her stepdaughter DeAnna Harris-Miller of Independence, Iowa; her stepgrandsons, Kaleb, Zeke, Isaiah and Gabe; her siblings, Babe Wurdeman (Paul), Ladd Wessels (Mary Lee), Judy Tudor (Chuck), Deets Thomsen, Larry Wessels (Nina) and Carmen Wessels; her siblings-in-law, Darrell Harris (Jan), Don Harris (Betty), Charlotte Powell (Dave) and Betty Wessels; and her close friends, Joe and Linda Paris. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
